Antique French Regence Style Flip-Top Game Table will make an elegant console or end table, and when someone in the family or guests want to engage in a game or cards, chess or other fun, the back legs extend and the top flips open to reveal a felt top surface perfect for the task!  When closed, it's an attractive table with contoured and gadrooned edge overlooking a finely contoured apron whose front face is adorned with stylized shell and foliate carvings.  Complementary carvings of foliates appear also on the four graceful cabriole legs.  Note when the back is extended, there's a drawer pocket in which one can store cards or game pieces, or anything else one cares to conceal!
