Antique Italian Neoclassical Giltwood Wall Sconce is a cross between a console and a corbel, providing a shallow shelf onto which one can place display items, and do it with neoclassical flair!  Subtly contoured surface is supported by scrollwork adorned with acanthus plumes in various forms, all inspired by the architecture of the ancient Greeks and Romans.  The gold finish has achieved a bit of patina over the decades, only adding to the visual allure.
