Bold yet beautifully balanced, this mid-century French candelabrum was hand-forged from iron in the expressive Brutalist tradition. Seven candle arms rise in a graduated, symmetrical composition, creating a strong sculptural silhouette while preserving the visible character of the blacksmith’s work.
Each branch terminates in a tapered candle cup, while the central standard is anchored by a substantial arched base with shaped feet. The dark, textured surface retains a naturally aged patina that complements the restrained design and gives the piece an authentic artisanal presence.
Circa mid-1900s
