Pair 19th Century Carved & Painted Wall Panels will make a unique decorative accent for any neoclassical decor.  Hand-sculpted from solid fruitwood, each panel consists of an arched crown bordered with egg & dart motif atop which a floral wreath with ribbon and floral sprays appears.  The panel below continues the theme with a full relief floral swag tied with ribbon set in a finely molded frame.  The corners are rounded and fluted and lead the eyes to the upturned acanthus flourishes that rest on the horizontal base.  The two-toned painted finish has achieved a lovely patina over the past century, only adding to the visual allure.
