19th Century French Faux Bamboo Nightstand with Carrara Marble

19th Century French Faux Bamboo Nightstand with Carrara Marble is a special example of French craftsmanship, designed to emulate Far Eastern designs during the popularity for all things Oriental that occurred in Europe during the period.  This example will make a great companion in a bedroom or any seating group, thanks to the finish work all around and the luxurious Carrara marble top perfect for carefree use.  Each cornerpost is of three-quarters design made from maple to simulate bamboo shafts, with pine panels adding to the effect.  A full width drawer and drop-down cabinet that opens to reveal a marble lined interior add functionality.  The lower shelf is great for stashing magazines or books, as well.  Part of a set, the remaining pieces are still available as of this writing.  See Related Products below left.
