Pair 19th Century French Regence Walnut Marble Top Nightstands will make an incredibly elegant addition to your room!  Finished on all four sides, they're great as end tables in a large room, or as they were originally intended, as beautiful bedside companions.  Styled in the Rococo manner, sumptuous walnut was employed to create the pieces, with subtly contoured raised panels on both sides and the back, but lavish carving appearing on the front side.  Motifs include stylized shell and foliates with rounded corners adorned with flourishes leading the eyes down to the boldly scrolled legs adorned with bold acanthus plumes, with an asymmetrical shell and foliates centered under the cabinet doors.  The graceful legs are tipped with escargots.  Cast brass knobs on the drawers and doors allow instant access, and doors open to reveal marble-lined interiors.  Neutral sand-colored marble with a beveled edge all around provides a carefree yet opulent surface as a finishing touch!
