Pair Antique French Louis XIV Marble Top Nightstands

Pair Antique French Louis XIV Marble Top Nightstands reflect the elegance and magnificence of the style, with a truly regal touch inspired by both classic and Baroque design.  Almost square in design, each is topped with luxuriously veined, earth toned Sienna marble for a carefree elegance.  The casework is fitted with rounded, carved corners on all four sides framing the chamfered panels all around including the front which features a full width drawer and cabinet door, both lavished with stylized shell and foliate motifs.  The doors on the pair are designed for left hand and right hand operation, and are fitted with cast brass knobs.  When open, each reveals a porcelain interior lining.  Each casework is supported by four boldly scrolled cabriole legs carved with acanthus plumes and escargot feet, which complement the finished facades all around.  Together, with the aforementioned marble tops, the pair not only make great bedside companions, but are wonderful choices for any seating group ~ even in the center of the room!  Hand-crafted from solid oak to last for generations.
