Pair French Directoire Mahogany Nightstands ~ End Tables epitomize the style born at the beginning of the 19th century, which continues to be popular today for its tailored architecture and subtle elegance.  This pair, rendered from exotic imported mahogany, feature the trademark rectilinear form with the front corners rounded from the beveled edge to the casework sides to the rounded, tapered legs that are tipped in brass feet.  Brass was also used as molding to create panels on the sides, and to outline each of the drawers.  One of the pair has three drawers, while the other has one plus an open cubby hole.  Cast brass knobs provide access.  Perfect for bedside companions, or to use in a seating group against the wall, their timeless design and superior quality will provide generations of enjoyment!
