Rustic Antique Neoclassical Marble Top Nightstand ~ Pedestal is an intriguing piece, being just shy of three feet tall yet only sixteen inches square.  Featuring a drawer and a cabinet, it could easily serve in a cozy bedroom by the side of the bed, or more likely, anywhere in the home where a relatively tall surface is needed to display a lamp, sculpture or objet d'art.  The Carrara marble top is perfect for any use, providing carefree elegance.  The drawer has a fluted facade fronted by a lion's head supported by swags.  A single cloth hanging from a quatrefoil is depicted on the narrow cabinet door below, accessed with a brass pull.  A modicum of storage is provided by the drawer and cabinet, and the entire affair rests on a bold base molding with turned feet.  Finished all around, it can even be placed in the center of the room if so desired!
