19th Century Cast Brass Crucifix with Pair of Matching Candlesticks is an exceptional example of the metalsmith's art!  The crucifix features trefoils at the tips of the cross, representing the Holy Trinity, accented with garnet-colored mabe glass, with one emerald colored mabe glass above the corpus.  Additional daggers with dogwood emanate from the crosspiece.  The intricately cast four-footed base with four shells connecting the base of the cross is duplicated on the bases of the pair of matching candlesticks.  The candlesticks feature fluted columns with flared bobeches and candle holders with floral petals acting as a secondary bobeche.  Cast in solid brass to last for centuries!  Sold as a set.
