19th Century Flemish Renaissance Confiturier ~ Cabinet in stripped oak is an excellent choice for a cozy niche, narrow wall space, or corner of the room that needs a little surface, a little storage, and a lot of Old World charm! Hand-carved from solid oak, it features a fully carved top tier from wall to wall with elongated egg motif enhanced with acanthus flourishes, that includes a full width drawer fitted with a finely cast bronze bale pull. Below is an intricately designed geometric molding design that is centered with a lion's head in full relief, matching the lions heads that appear atop the cornerposts which are tapered, carved with Greek coin overlay, and finished with lion's paw feet. The base consists of multiple tiers of bold molding including a fishscale panel that is eye-catching. Door and drawer both open to reveal surprising storage, making this as useful as it is interesting!
