19th Century Renaissance Console ~ Etagere Buffet

19th Century Renaissance Console ~ Etagere Buffet is a truly special piece, one that will fit in tight spots, niches, between windows, on stairwell landings and just about anywhere!  Add a little Old World touch to your decorating with this piece, hand-crafted from solid oak to last for centuries.  The top is double-beveled all around, and rests atop an upper tier that contains a full-width drawer fitted with a cast bronze bale pull, flanked by a pair of lions' heads carved into the corners.  The facade is carved with an elongated, stylized repeating egg motif down each side and across the front.  Support is provided by straight legs in the back carved with fletching, and turned legs in the front presenting flanking urn forms on each corner, providing a framework for the middle and lower shelves.  The bold base molding at the bottom finished the effect, with bun feet for support.
