Mid-19th Century Grand French Renaissance Low Buffet in Stripped Oak is an incredible example of the height of the revival during this important period in French history!  Created from solid, dense, old-growth French white oak, it features a step-back center section and visual excellence from all angles.  Four bounty of the earth pilasters, influenced by the della robbia Italian technique, create frameworks for the four amazingly detailed door panels.  A demilune gadrooned edge along the top which appears above the astounding sculpture of the drawer facades punctuated by large bold rosettes, creates a stunning front facade, with more rosettes and an enlarged relief fletching pattern on the sides going all the way to the rear of the casework.  Stylized lions' heads are centered on each of the three drawers and four cabinet doors, with the ones on the drawers also serving as pulls.  The doors and drawers open to reveal cavernous storage as icing on the cake.  The design is low enough to serve behind a large sofa, in an entryway, or anywhere an impressively amazing statement piece is desired!
