Antique Country French Vaisselier ~ Buffet

Antique Country French Vaisselier ~ Buffet was crafted from solid oak and brass to last for generations!  The large, spacious buffet below is over seven feet wide, and features four cabinet doors that open to a non-partitioned interior providing amazing storage capability.  Four drawers appear on top of the cabinet doors for added utility, and to top it off, a display shelf with recessed, contoured shelves to allow maximum access to the main surface above the drawers.  Featuring mitered corners that are embellished with molding detail both below and above, it is topped with a multi-tiered crown that lords over the finely contoured apron.  Double raised & recessed panels also appear on each side of the top, as well as the bottom, rendering visual appeal from any angle.  The design of the panels on the lower buffet are reminiscent of Louis XIII styling, for a splendid Old World look.  Brass bail pulls on pierced guards grace each drawer, with finely cast key guards and full length brass barrel hinges adorning each cabinet door.  Plywood backing was added to the top tier at some point in its history, which can be removed should one desire a more open look showing the wall behind it.
